SINP-Saskatchewan Immigration- PNP Process
Saskatchewan Immigration
The Saskatchewan Immigration is a
pathway for the potential migrants to come and settle in the province
permanently. The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) allows the
province to nominate candidates to the federal government for permanent
residents under three main categories namely International Skilled Worker,
Saskatchewan Experience and Business Immigration. Every category under SINP has
its visa and immigration requirements that an applicant must meet to become
eligible for the program.
Saskatchewan Immigration Points
Saskatchewan Province of Canada
invites migrants based on the points system. The right candidates are invited
based on their overall Saskatchewan Immigration points scored. A minimum of 60
immigration points out of 100 on the Saskatchewan assessment grid is needed to
apply under SINP International Skilled Worker (ISW) sub-category. The points
are calculated for age, educational qualification, work experience, language
ability, and adaptability factors. The selected candidate profiles are placed
into the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool where the highest-ranking candidates
are invited through regular SINP draws.
Saskatchewan Express Entry
Saskatchewan Express Entry is one
of the International skilled worker streams under the Saskatchewan Immigrant
Nominee Program (SINP) that is operated by the province. The candidates in the
express entry pool who have experience in one of the Saskatchewan in-demand
occupations are targeted for applying for Canadian permanent residence under
this category. A job offer letter is not required to become eligible for SINP Express Entry linked stream. The candidates with the most competitive profiles
are invited to apply for this program.
Saskatchewan Immigration Occupation List
Saskatchewan Immigration Occupation List is the in-demand occupation list that mentions those
occupations which are currently in-demand in the province and has labour
shortage. The government of Saskatchewan on regular intervals updates its
occupation list wherein some occupations are added or removed. The applicants
applying through the SINP in-demand category must check their occupation before
applying for the visa program. Well, these occupations are expected to be
in-demand for the next five years at least.
SINP Processing Time
SINP Processing Time is dependent
upon individual application status and different factors like the total number
of applications received, total number of available places, immigration points
score and submission of complete and accurate document kit. Saskatchewan has
one of the fastest Canada PR processing time. The general SINP processing time
takes around 3-4 months for 80 percent of the applications processed. Also, the
average processing time may vary individually and can be changed at anytime.
