For The 137th Draw, Manitoba Received 278 Letters Of Interest.

In the new 137th Manitoba PNP draws held on February 24th, 2022, the Manitoba government issued 278 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to MPNP candidates. Those who claimed to have both a valid Express Entry ID and a valid job seeker validation code were awarded an additional 66 LLAs. Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Workers Overseas are Manitoba's three immigration programs.

The MPNP's Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream awarded 206 LAAs. The candidate who received the lowest skilled worker score, a 612, was asked to take part. Foreign nationals having past work experience in Manitoba who are now employed in the province are eligible to apply for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba program. To be considered for the new 137th, candidates must meet certain criteria.

The International Education Stream requires 39 letters of recommendation, and the stream's minimum cut-off score has not yet been established.

The MPNP, which obtained the lowest score of 685, went to great lengths to find 39 talented workers in other countries. This stream is for international and out-of-country applicants with significant professional expertise and strong ties to Manitoba, such as a family member who lives here or previous job experience.

The PNP in Manitoba is one of only a few government-funded programs in Canada. Candidates who were individually recruited by the MPNP through a Strategic Recruitment drive and had valid IRCC Express Entry profiles were eligible to submit Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas. They will also receive 600 extra points, increasing their chances of earning an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residency in Canada and becoming a Canada PR. Even though they scored higher than the lowest-ranked rival, the majority of candidates report they did not receive an Application Letter.

This could be because you claimed to have taken an approved third-party language exam to verify your English/French language abilities, but you either did not give or did not include a valid Test. You claimed that you were requested to apply to the MPNP as part of a Strategic Initiative, but your expression of interest (EOI) either lacked a valid invitation number or had expired. This is your chance to apply for Manitoba's Permanent Residence Program this year and become a permanent resident of the province.
