BC PNP Issues 243 tech invitations through a targeted draw
On 31st January 2023, there was a targeted draw including the tech occupations for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP).
The province sent out 243 invitations to apply (ITAs) for tech candidates and at least 41 ITAs for other profile professionals that were specifically targeted.
All provinces (with the exception of Quebec and Nunavut) have their own Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), which are a means for provincial governments to nominate foreign nationals with specialized skills to immigrate to their province and fill labor shortages.
By 2024, the Express Entry managed programs are predicted to be replaced by the PNP, which has significantly augmented Canada's immigration programs as the primary economic immigration route for foreign workers.

How to apply?
In order to immigrate to British Columbia to seek employment, education, location within the province, language skills, and wage to the demands of the provincial labor market, you must first register with the Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS). You can have a discussion about your immigration to BC Providence under Canada PNP immigration Programs with a good Immigration Expert to simplify your decision.
The International Post-Graduate Category and the Healthcare Professional Category do not require applicants to register with the SIRS; instead, they can submit applications directly through BCPNP Online.
Then, after receiving a registration score based on several criteria, you are included in a selection pool for the selected category. People are encouraged to apply for a provincial nomination in a provincial draw if they meet specific requirements and have a score higher than a particular cut-off.
Candidates will then have 30 days to submit their applications.
