Things to Consider:tween September 15 and October 6, 2022, the method for expressing interest was improved. The period in question saw no draws.
As more EOI profiles are submitted than the program can handle, interest in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is still quite high. Since the reactivation of the EOI system, draw scores have improved in comparison to preceding drawings. On November 17, 2022, the draws were restarted.
A candidate's expression of interest in a skilled worker overseas has only been taken into consideration if:
- the MPNP explicitly invited you as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative; you have a current Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
- Only those applicants who accept an invitation with an Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code will be qualified for a nomination.
Candidates who are invited with an Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code are only qualified to be nominated if the Express Entry profile is active at the time the application is evaluated.
If you have taken an approved third-party language test to prove your proficiency in English or French but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid but your score is higher than the lowest-ranked candidate, this could be because:
- You have stated that you have taken an approved third-party language test to prove your proficiency in English or French, but you have not included a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid; you have also stated that you have received an invitation to apply to the MPNP through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, but you have not included a valid invitation number.
- Please be aware that the EOI contains help language for each question, which provides thorough instructions on the data you must submit. If any of these situations apply to you, you might want to update your EOI with the updated details in order to be taken into account for the upcoming draw from the EOI pool.
The draw has chosen candidates who declared they are employed in a regulated industry and have a valid Manitoba work permit. It is, however, possible for the MPNP to reject or reject complete applications of applicants who are not genuinely employed in regulated occupations and/or fail to submit documentation proving they have completed all stages of the Manitoba employment licensing process. If this applies to you, you might want to think about turning down your letter of recommendation to apply.
